Microsoft has integrated some new features in latest IE Developer Preview which will be helpful for developers. Some of the features are given below:
- Automatic Phone Number Detection: Automatic phone number detection has been integrated in new internet explorer. With this, whenever you see a phone number on a webpage, Internet Explorer will turn into a link that will be opened with your default calling application such as Skype.
- Full Screen API: W3C's Full Screen specification is supported in IE11. With this, developers can bring videos, images and other rich content in full awareness of users.
- Screen Orientation API: Screen Orientation API enables developers to detect the current orientation, changes in the orientation and to lock their content to specific orientation.
- UI Responsiveness: UI Responsiveness is a great tool to analyze your page for user-interface problems. A screenshot of UI Responsiveness tool is given below. This tool is an enhancement in F12 developer tools. It helps in checking page load time and other metrics

- TCP Connection Sharing: IE11 Review facilitates SPDY/3, a method that describes how to multiplex (combine) several HTTP requests into a single TCP connection. This can enhance performance by decreasing the number of individual TCP connections needed to request a page.
